The 3rd ATMM International Conference (this year a three-day event) will take place on 12-13 November 2014 at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, and on 14 November 2014 at Bahçeşehir University, Beşiktaş, Istanbul, Turkey. ATMM 2014 OPENING CEREMONY AND KEYNOTE ATMM Steering Committee is pleased to announce Pieter Snapper as the keynote speaker of ATMM. Opening ceremony and the keynote speech, titled Rediscovering Creative Sound Engineering: a Challenge to Producers, Engineers, Artists, and Educators, will take place on Wednesday, 12 November, at 12:30 at Bilkent University (Conference Hall, Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture), Ankara. Pieter Snapper Snapper is the founder of the MIAM studios and co-founder of Babajim Istanbul Studios & Mastering. Snapper is a mastering engineer, producer, and composer of contemporary classical and electronic music. His works have been played in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He has received awards from BMI, ASCAP, UC Berkeley, the Union League Foundation, and commissions from the Fromm Foundation at Harvard University, Yamaha Corporation of America, the ensemble Eighth Blackbird (three time Grammy-winners), and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.
