Studies are focused on reconstructing and deforming the bodies by either altering the physical conditions in which the entity exists, and/or treating them as test subjects for virtual experiments while reshaping the systems we now have and thus documenting the evolvement in time. Worked as an instructor in Department of Visual Communication Design at İstanbul Bilgi University between 2006 and 2012. Now being represented in The Empire Project gallery as an artist and also working as a part-time instructor at Bahçeşehir University. Full Time Instructor, Istanbul Bilgi University, Visual Communication Design Department, Istanbul 2008-2012 During my position as a full time instructor in Bilgi University, I have been the lecturer for the following courses; 3D Computer Graphics, 3D Computer Animation, Compositing & Digital Effects, Concept Development, Found Footage, Digital Animation and Senior Project. I have also been one of the academic supervisors for Senior Project and also advisor for senior students. Coordinator of VCD 101Lab, Istanbul Bilgi University - 2008-2012 Besides my lectures I have worked as a supervisor of 101Lab, where students work for in-house departmental activities like workshops, screening weeks, juries and designing their visual identities. I have also been the coordinator of entrance exams for two years. Academic Supervisor, Shadow Lab - Joint Workshop and Exhibition, Istanbul Bilgi University and Cologne International School of Design on Animation - 2010 In December 2010, Visual Communication Design Department of Bilgi University and Cologne International School of Design collaborated for an exhibition, “Shadow Lab”, where its idea was to produce works on shadow, another kind of representation of the object itself and its possible optical illusions. I have been the supervisor of six Bilgi University students, where we produce the work in Cologne and attended the exhibition. The joint exhibition also took place in Istanbul, where I have worked as coordinator and supervisor. Lecturer, Computer Animation Workshops of SantralAtolye - 2008-2009 I have worked as a lecturer in SantralAtolye - Computer Animation Workshops where basic modelling and animation in 3D environment wast taught to students from outside of the school. Perception and interpretation of signs. FTV 326: Found Footage Recontextualization of video footages and making movies without shooting. Categorization and tagging the footages. VCD 411: 3D Computer Graphics Creating of 3D scenes by modeling, sculpting, lighting, texturing and rendering compositions. VCD 412: 3D Computer Animation Animating 3D objects using basic keyframes, deformers and physics simulations. FTV 419: Compositing and Digital Effects Introduction to digital effects and compositing techniques on real footage or computer generated images. VCD 372: Digital Animation Starting with history animation, course continues with nature of movement and focuses on motion design using basic shapes and typography.
