Sınıf İngilizce Dersi (A Bölümü) Öğretim Programı 2007-2008 Öğretim Yılında 5. Sınıfta uygulanmaya başlanmıştır. DynEd İngilizce Dil Eğitim Sistemi bilgisayar üzerinden interaktif bir eğitim programı olup 4-8 inci sınıflar İngilizce dersi öğretiminde yardımcı ders aracı olarak kullanılmaktadır. DynEd İngilizce Dil Eğitim Sisteminin ön uygulaması, 2007-2008 eğitim-öğretim yılında 11.152 ilköğretim okulunda yapılmıştır. 2008-2009 eğitim öğretim yılından itibaren de ülke genelindeki İnternet bağlantısı olan tüm resmi ilköğretim okullarında 3 uygulanmaktadır. 2007-2008 öğretim yılında uygulamaya konan yeni yabancı dil öğretim programı ile DynEd İngilizce Dil Eğitim Sisteminin karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. DynEd programının İlköğretim İngilizce 5 programının amaçları ile ne derece örtüştüğü, içerik analizi yapılarak tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Anahtar Sözcükler: DynEd Eğitim Yazılımı, Yabancı Dil Eğitimi, İlköğretim 5 İngilizce Dersi öğretim Programı, Bilgisayar Destekli Öğretim, Bilgisayar Destekli Yabancı Dil Öğretimi, DynEd. Sınıflarda 2007-2008 Öğretim Yılında uygulanmaya başlanmıştır. Programda karma tip program geliştirme modeli kullanılmıştır. Programın açıklamalar bölümümde; “ Avrupa Dil Pasaportunu (ELP)’ nun programla kolayca bütünleşebileceği görülmektedir. ELP, öğrencilerin iletişim yeterliklerini geliştirmeyi amaçlayan her yabancı dil programını desteklemektedir. Dolayısıyla programda iletişimsel yön (işlevler ve kavramlar) bulunmalıdır. Ayrıca, ELP’in pedagojik işlevleri – dil öğrenme sürecini öğrenciler için daha saydam yapmak, düşünme ve kendini 1 http://ttkb.meb.gov.tr/program.aspx?islem=1&kno=31 http://mebides.meb.gov.tr/ 3 http://mebides.meb.gov.tr/files/ust_yazi_eylul_2008.pdf 2 Siyasal Kitabevi, Ankara, Turkey, 2011 ISBN: 978-605-5782-62-7 1129 2nd International Conference on New Trends in Education and Their Implications 27-29 April, 2011 Antalya-Turkey www.iconte.org değerlendirme kapasitelerini geliştirmelerine yardımcı olmak ve böylece yavaş yavaş onların kendi öğrenimleri için daha çok sorumluluk üstlenmelerini sağlamak – dil öğretimindeki çağdaş yaklaşım ve yöntemlerde vurgulanan öğrenmeyi öğrenme ve eleştirel düşünceyi geliştirme konularıyla da örtüşmektedir. Bundan dolayı, 4 gerek dil gerekse çalışma becerileri ve görevler programda yer almalıdır. ” Denilmektedir. The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)’nı oluşturmuştur. Öğrenme stilleri farklı olan 4 5 http://digm.meb.gov.tr/uaorgutler/AK/cefr_Turkce.pdf http://adp.meb.gov.tr/nedir.php Siyasal Kitabevi, Ankara, Turkey, 2011 ISBN: 978-605-5782-62-7 1130 2nd International Conference on New Trends in Education and Their Implications 27-29 April, 2011 Antalya-Turkey www.iconte.org öğrencilerin çoklu zekâ kuramı çerçevesinde birden çok duyu organına hitap eden bu tür yazılımların kullanılması ile öğrenme kalıcı ve anlamlı olacaktır. Bu özellik sayesinde 6 http://bote.hacettepe.edu.tr/wiki/index.php/Bilgisayar_Destekli_E%C4%9Fitimin_Yararlar%C4%B1 7 http://mebides.meb.gov.tr DynEd Siyasal Kitabevi, Ankara, Turkey, 2011 ISBN: 978-605-5782-62-7 1131 2nd International Conference on New Trends in Education and Their Implications 27-29 April, 2011 Antalya-Turkey www.iconte.org kullanıcıların gereksinimleri yazılım tarafından bire bir karşılanmakta ve her kullanıcının kendi hedefine yönelik çalışması sayesinde daha kısa zamanda başarı elde edilmektedir. Toefl Sınavının Formatı9 Bölümler 8 9 Zaman Toplam Soru Haznedar, 2010 http://www.ets.org/toefl/ibt/prepare/ Siyasal Kitabevi, Ankara, Turkey, 2011 ISBN: 978-605-5782-62-7 1132 2nd International Conference on New Trends in Education and Their Implications 27-29 April, 2011 Antalya-Turkey www.iconte.org Rehberle Çalışma Süresiz Listening 40-60 Dakika 30-50 Structure 15-20 Dakika 20-25 Break 5 Dakika Reading 70-90 Dakika 44-55 Writing 30 Dakika 1 Topic Yukarıdaki tablo incelendiğinde dil eğitimi ile ilgili çalışmaların nasıl yapılması gerektiği hakkında bir fikir edinilmektedir. Her öğrenci kendi öğrenme hızında öğrenim sağlar. Bilgisayar destekli öğretimin uygulanması sırasında öğrenci derse aktif olarak katılmak zorundadır. Hatalar, eksikler öğrenme sırasında anında görülür ve düzeltilir. Yanlışa karşı hoşgörü vardır. Öğrencinin her zaman yemden cevaplama şansı vardır. Çalışmanın kapsamı Bu çalışma; DynEd programının I. Bölümü olan “First English” bölümünün içeriği ile İlköğretim İngilizce Dersi 5. Sınıf Öğretim Programının içeriğinin karşılaştırılması ile sınırlıdır. Siyasal Kitabevi, Ankara, Turkey, 2011 ISBN: 978-605-5782-62-7 1133 2nd International Conference on New Trends in Education and Their Implications 27-29 April, 2011 Antalya-Turkey www.iconte.org Yöntem ve teknikler Bu araştırmada; Doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Sınıf İngilizce Dersi (A Bölümü) Öğretim Programına Milli Eğitim bakanlığının web sitesindeki http://ttkb.meb.gov.tr/program.aspx?islem=1&kno=31 adresinden ulaşılarak program indirilmiştir. DynEd Programı ise Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı tüm ilköğretim okullarına gönderilen DynEd CD’sinden First English bölümü incelenerek ilköğretim 5. Sınıfla ilişkilendirilen 5. 6. 7 ve 8. Üniteler MEB programındaki başlıklara göre düzenlenen materyale ulaşılmıştır. Bu programlar karşılaştırılan birbiriyle örtüşen konular tespit edilmiştir.
