24 GENETLAB INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES Genetlab creates state-of-art solutions for the defence and homeland security market, developing systems and solutions based on “wireless sensor network” technologies. To meet user requirements, Genetlab engages in R&D projects, developing hardware, software and operating system components. Thanks to its experience in wireless sensor network technologies, Genetlab is able to bring new values and solutions to meet various needs in the sector. TEDAS – Wireless Sensor Network System for Perimeter Security TEDAS is a state-of-the-art Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) System, designed to provide peripheral security for important facilities. It may be adapted to many types of fences, including wire fences, panel fences, wrought iron fences etc. Unauthorized persons trying to breach peripheral fencing are immediately detected by TEDAS. Any attempts at unauthorized access through the fence (by breaching, climbing, lifting etc.) is immediately detected and precisely pinpointed by TEDAS. False alarms due to natural impacts (such as wind, heavy rain etc.) or non-threatening incidences (such as leaning on the fence, balls striking the fence etc.) is diminished through intelligent signal processing methodologies. TEDASTM, based on a sophisticated state-of-the-art technology and 25 comprehensive field experience, provides a reliable solution for peripheral security. KADAS – Wireless Sensor Network System for Critical Terrain Security KADAS has been designed to secure borders and military bases. KADAS SenseNodes, incorporating seismic sensors, are deployed on critical approach routes and passages to detect and control hostile movements around critical infrastructures. SenseAway – Rural Area Security and Monitoring System SenseAway is a system designed to detect intrusions and monitor parameters such as temperature and humidity in facilities located in areas without infrastructure. SenseAway needs no pre-engineered energy source or communication infrastructure thanks to its own energy scavenging and communication capabilities. SenseAway can be modified according to user needs and the environmental conditions of the areas in which the facilities are located. Kar Plaza Kayışdağı Cad.
