PAUL TURK Türkiye’de bir Anadolu efsanesi filminin çekimlerini yapmak istiyorum. Bunu yapmaktaki amac›m efsane ile günümüz insanlar› aras›nda bir iliflki kurmakt›r. RS Herhangi bir sorunla karfl›laflt›n›z m› flu ana kadar? PAUL TURK Filmin Türkiye’deki çekimi için pek çok bürokratik ifllemler vard›. Ama Türk hükümeti bu konuda bize her türlü kolayl›¤› titizlikle gösteriyor. Bundan baflka bir s›k›nt›y› da filmin sigorta flirketiyle yaflad›k. Ancak film çekiminin Türkiye’de olmas› için ›srar ettik ve kabul ettirdik. Bir de Amerikan halk›na eski kültürleri tan›tmay› çok istiyorum. Türkiye’de çok yetenekli oyuncular var. Bunlar› da tüm dünyadaki film yap›mc›lar›na göstermek gerekiyor. RS Pekiiii, film çekimlerine ne zaman bafll›yorsunuz? Onunla bu meseleyi konufltunuz mu? Konufltum. Bu isim de¤ifltirmenin kimin fikri oldu¤unu sordum. Bana, kendi fikri oldu¤unu söyledi, ama inanmad›m. Geçen gün bir arkadafl› ile geldi. Bu o¤lan ona “Michelle” diyordu. K›z›ma çok kibar davran›yordu ve bana karfl› da çok sayg›l›yd›. San›yorum o o¤landan hofllan›yor. Konu komfluya damad›m›n Türk olmad›¤›n› nas›l anlat›r›m ben? Bu o kadar çok mu kötü bir fley? Müflerref de bana ayn› fleyi sordu sonra k›z›p, ba¤›r›p kap›y› çarp›p, odas›na kapand›. Son günlerde benimle konuflmaz oldu.
