Farklı toplumsal öğelerin arasındaki ilişkileri, tarihsel bakış açısı ile tarihi gerçeklikler açısından değerlendirme. Azınlıklar, şehirleşme, İslam ve cinsiyet ilişkileri gibi ana temaları irdeleme. Course Objectives This course aims to discuss issues in Turkish history and society through the perspective of movies. The goal is to familiarize the students with these main themes of discussion through visual popular culture materials. Through this, the students will not only learn about these subjects but will also see how different Turkish directors and script writers used these themes. The aim of the course is to give students different perspectives and create an environment of discussion. The course is designed to have four main themes which also have sub-categories.
