Following the 60-day disclosure period, all comments received will be addressed and incorporated as appropriate into the EIA, prior to formal submission to the Ministry of Environment of the Turkish Government. The EIA describes the existing environmental and social conditions along the pipeline route, the design, construction and operation of the pipeline, the predicted effects of the activities and the measures which will be taken to prevent, minimise and mitigate any potential adverse effects on the ecology and population. We welcome all comments on the draft EIA.
